Why Choose Us for GMAT Preparation in Thane
Built for the Focus Edition, Not the Retired Test
The GMAT changed completely in 2023 — no essay, no sentence correction, no geometry, and a new Data Insights section. We coach the current test only.
Data Insights, Properly Covered
The section most candidates coming from old prep material haven't practiced at all. We drill all five question types individually.
Equal-Weighting Strategy
All three sections now count equally toward your score. We teach a study plan that reflects this, not the old Quant/Verbal-heavy approach.
Section-Order Strategy
The Focus Edition lets you choose your section order. We help you decide and practice it in advance.
Small Batches
Individual feedback on data insights and the quantitative problem-solving approach.
One Office, Your Whole Journey
GMAT prep, MBA application support, and business school shortlisting, handled by the same team in Thane West.
What's Actually On The Test
| Section | Duration | What It Tests |
|---|---|---|
| Quantitative Reasoning | 45 min | Algebra & arithmetic problem-solving (no geometry) |
| Verbal Reasoning | 45 min | Reading comprehension & critical reasoning (no sentence correction) |
| Data Insights | 45 min | Data sufficiency, tables, graphics, multi-source & two-part reasoning |
Who Actually Needs the GMAT?
MBA Applicants
Built specifically around business decision-making scenarios. Some programmes still prefer or require it by name over the GRE.
Master's in Management Applicants
Widely accepted across MiM and related business master's programs globally.
Candidates Strong in Data-Driven Reasoning
Data Insights rewards comfort interpreting spreadsheets, charts, and business-relevant data formats specifically.
Not Essential If
Your target schools accept the GRE and your background is stronger in broader verbal or non-business quant reasoning — worth comparing both before committing months of prep.
Typical Score Requirements by Program Tier
| Programme Tier | Typical Total Score |
|---|---|
| Top-tier MBA programs | 655+ |
| Strong, well-ranked programs | 555–645 |
What Does Each Section Really Demand?
Quantitative Reasoning
Algebra and arithmetic problem-solving only; geometry was removed in the Focus Edition. No calculator permitted, so mental math fluency and estimation matter more than on the GRE.
Verbal Reasoning
Reading Comprehension and Critical Reasoning only; Sentence Correction is gone. This shifts preparation toward argument analysis and logical structure, a real change for candidates using older material.
Data Insights
Five question types: Data Sufficiency, Table Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, Multi-Source Reasoning, and Two-Part Analysis. A basic on-screen calculator is permitted here specifically.

How It Works
GMAT vs GRE: Which Should You Take?
| Test | Best For |
|---|---|
| GMAT | Business-specific Data Insights: Some MBA programs require it by name. |
| GRE | Broader verbal, calculator-allowed quant, better for non-business academic backgrounds. |
